Privacy policy
CasinosMap is a static informational site. It maps where brick and mortar casinos are and writes a short guide for each place. There are no user accounts, no sign in, no comments, and nothing to buy, so the site is built to collect as little personal information as possible. This page explains what that means in practice.
What we collect
Because the site has no accounts and no forms that ask who you are, it does not ask for or store names, email addresses, payment details, or any similar personal information as part of normal browsing. You can read every page without identifying yourself.
Like most websites, the pages are delivered by a hosting provider, Cloudflare Pages, which may keep standard server access logs that can include an IP address, browser type, and the time of a request. These logs are kept by the host under its own terms, as part of delivering and protecting the site, rather than something the site itself sets up.
Cookies and analytics
The site itself does not require cookies to work and sets none of its own for tracking or advertising.
To understand how the site is used, it uses Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google. Google Analytics sets its own cookies and collects usage data such as an IP address, device and browser type, approximate location, referring site, and the pages viewed, which Google processes on our behalf under its own privacy policy. We use this only to see which pages are useful and how visitors find the site, not to identify you personally, and we do not use it for advertising. You can limit or block it with your browser’s cookie controls or Google’s own opt out tools. If the analytics setup changes, this section will be updated to describe what is collected before that change goes live.
Maps and third party content
The pages link out to authoritative sources such as state gaming commissions, tribal gaming authorities, and casino operators. Those sites are run by other organizations and have their own privacy practices, which this policy does not cover.
The interactive locator maps are planned to load map tiles from OpenStreetMap. When that feature ships, loading those tiles may expose your IP address to the OpenStreetMap Foundation and its tile servers under their own privacy terms. This section will be updated with a link to that policy when the maps go live.
No advertising or monetization
The site carries no advertising, no affiliate links, and no sponsored content, so there is no advertising or cross site tracking tied to those things. It is an informational and map first resource, and any change to that model would be reflected here.
Children
This is a site about casino gambling and is intended for adults who are of legal gambling age. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from them.
Your choices and requests
You can browse with your own browser privacy controls, including blocking cookies or clearing local data, without affecting how the pages display. If you want to ask what, if anything, is held about a visit, or to request a correction or deletion, write to [email protected].
Changes to this policy
If the site’s data practices change, this policy will be updated and the effective date below will change with it. Significant changes will be described plainly rather than buried.
Operator and contact
This site is operated by CasinosMap. Privacy questions can be sent to [email protected].
Effective date: 31 May 2026.
Pending qualified review The operator, contact route, hosting, analytics, and map provider on this page are now set. It is still standard boilerplate that has not been reviewed by a qualified person, so it remains noindex; remove the noindex flag in the frontmatter only after that review.
This is a standard privacy policy for a static informational site with no user accounts and minimal data collection. The operator, contact route, hosting, analytics, and map provider are now set. It remains noindex and should still be reviewed by someone qualified before launch.
